About this column
It’s Day Ten of NaNoWriMo and I’m behind word count — by about half as many words as would be advisable at this point if one were hoping to make it to 50K by the end of November. Which um, one is. Making time for novel writing amidst all the other stuff I have going on this Fall is teaching me a lot. There are lessons here — if I only look up long enough to see them!
On playback, realized that the “certain people” I refer to are probably in my head. :)

Hi Abby,
I came over here to grab your email address to send you the anchor link stuff but having just listened to your audio (loved hearing your voice btw) I had to leave a comment because I can totally relate. This is the first time I ever started Nanowrimo and after a bonkers end to last week, I’m even more behind schedule than you. I’ve only written about 4000 words!
But I smiled so much when you talked about how you always believe you can take on the challenge, no matter how big. That’s so me. Even though I’m so, so far behind, I still believe I can do it and am doing so whilst also doing a whole load of new things elsewhere. Totally bonkers but hey, at least it keeps us out of mischief eh?
Thanks for making me smile and helping me to know I’m not alone,
El x
Sounds like we’re two of a kind when it comes to this stuff, El. I’m in good company! :)
